Our chargepoint installation partner will ask you to complete an online home survey to provide some details and photos of your home. This is so they can check what work needs to be done.

Artboard 13SquareAfter you've completed your online home survey, our installation partner will provide a quote for any non-standard installation costs.

Once you have provided the necessary information our installer will arrange a suitable date to install your chargepoint. Installation normally takes a few hours.

Non-standard installation

You are likely to need a non-standard installation because your parking space is a bit further from your home than usual.

A standard chargepoint installation is suitable for most customers, but some installations might need some extra work. This is called a non-standard installation. As this extra work isn’t part of a standard installation, it will come with an added cost. This usually ranges from £50 to £400, depending on what’s needed.

What work might be needed and how much will it cost?

We’ve broken down some common examples below to give you a sense of what additional work could cost. If you need any of this, Ohme, our home charging partner, will explain what’s needed and give you a clear quote before anything goes ahead.
