Hi there,

It looks like public EV charging is your best option because your home is not suitable for an EV chargepoint installation.

Right now, public charging is still the best option for lots of drivers. And we’re here to help you find your way around it and show you how it can work for you.

Motability Go Charge

Called ‘Go Charge’ for short our card and app give you access to over 58,000 public chargepoints from over 40 different operators. That’s over half of all chargepoints in the UK.

It allows you to add a credit or debit card and pay for charging without worrying about pre-authorisation or downloading other apps.  While we don't currently offer discounts  - you'll never pay more than the operator’s ‘pay as you go’ tariff.

What is public charging?

There are over 110,000 public chargepoints in the UK, and that number is growing all the time.

Even if you get a home chargepoint installed, it's likely you'll need to use public charging at some point during your lease. We support every EV customer with charging on the go with our Go with the Motability Scheme app.
